Lemonade Diet
Cleansing has been used for thousands of years; as a rite of passage, to eliminate spirits, or to oust an unwanted sub-sect, as far back as we can tell, it’s often been the case that what we don’t like, we cleanse. Cleansing diets are used for the same reasons; to rid your body of something harmful or unwanted. One of the most popular cleansing diets is the lemonade diet which shuffles everything down and out.
If you’ve ever felt totally spent form the rigors of your day to day and wanted to wash away clean whatever travails life has sent your way, you sound like a perfect candidate for something like the Lemonade Diet.
A Lemonade Diet is a specific term for the wider cleansing diet. A cleanse usually comes along with a change in behavior; usually removal of elements in an attempt to purify or cleanse the body. Cleanse is usually for a limited period of time and is said to increase health, digestion, weight loss, resistance to disease, energy, and overall mental state.
There are several popular methods of Cleansing Diets including
-Fasting
-Increased fish consumption
-caloric restriction
-herbal cleansing
-liver cleansing diet
-master cleanse (aka – the Lemonade Diet)
Cleansing Diets typically consist of fish and fruits and veggies. Also, on Cleansing Diets you usually eliminate alcohol, intake only unprocessed foods, and take up water drinking.
While Cleansing Diets have its fans there are also very vocal critics who argue on the other side of the isle that, for instance, your liver does enough all it’s own to protect and ward off contaminants along with the kidneys, lungs, and skin. Fitness is so important. We all live our lives trying to stay in shape, eat right, and live a long and healthy life. Numerous obstacles stand in our way of reaching these goals; but lifestyle change is really what it’s all about. There is no reason not to get on the web and try to find out some answers.
Also if you change your plan so radically, even for a brief time, the results can often lead to things such as fainting. Your body fat stores the toxins your body is unable to eliminate; if your blood sugar drops due to less consumption, then body fat releases toxins which are released into the body. This triggers headaches, muscle soreness, weakness, sleep disturbance, and irritability.
After hearing all this, if you say “get me the recipe for the lemonade diet,” you must really want it. Remember the Lemonade diet is also called the Master Cleanse; that means everything. But if you can handle detox and are ready to lose weight on the lemonade diet, then I say go for it!
